Swaging helps, but the key was to use lee universal decapper to align the flash hole with the primer ram, then seat the primer. I also had to orient the holder at a specific angle to reduce seating pressure.

When I swage my brass, I like a nice rounded lip, that will allow for easy primer seating, and I will not have to swage again. Running the brass through the vibratory case cleaner with crushed walnut shell media gets most, if not all of it off the brass.
