They’ve been used for a long time — since Florence Nightingale introduced the first nursing theory back around 1860. In short, a nursing theory outlines the needs of patients and explains how nurses should respond to different situations. WebbAbstract: This paper presents a practice-based conceptual (theoretical) model to address medication adherence. The study reviews literature for different rationales of medication adherence and its associated factors. It also reviews the interventions involved in improving medication adherence and its effect.
